IDEA-League Fellowship for Marc S. Boxberg

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Marc S. Boxberg has been awarded the IDEA-League Fellowship for the year 2025. This prestigious fellowship is provided by RWTH Aachen University and financed through the University of Excellence (EXU) program.

Marc will use this opportunity to advance his research on ultrasound transmission measurements and the inversion of recorded waveforms. He will be visiting TU Delft in the Netherlands to work in the lab of Auke Barnhoorn, collaborating closely with Katrin Löer. Together, they will focus on conducting experiments to enhance the precision of ultrasound measurements.

Following his time at TU Delft, Marc will head to Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. There, he will collaborate with Larisa Beilina to improve inversion methods for ultrasound waveform data, aiming to develop more effective computational techniques. At both universities, Marc is going to give presentations on RWTH Aachen University and his research.
